Building Professional Learning Communities

Building meaningful Professional Learning Communites is the foundation of getting the work of building high quality pedagogists complete. This training is led by Maria Silvestri, one of the architects of the Terrier House PLC. The Terrier House was named a model program by NEASC and resulted in drastically changing the success metrics of students.

This training will cover best practices in PLC building including:

  • Laying the foundation

  • Building in metrics for students and teachers alike

  • Ways to utilize Advisory programs

  • Dealing with negative faculty and staff

  • Ways to increase student learning and staff self-reflection
